Program Educational Objectives

          DEPTH: To produce graduates with strong foundation in mathematics, basic science and engineering fundamentals that will enable them to solve electrical engineering problems.

         BREADTH: To produce graduates with breadth in knowledge in other disciplines also, in order to facilitate involvement in inter-disciplinary real life problems, leading to design of innovative products.

         PROFESSIONALISM: To instill in graduates good management and communication skills, the art of self learning, teamwork skills, and strong adherence to ethical values like environmental protection,promoting usage of nonconventional energy and importance of energy saving in a social context.

         PASSION: To foster a passion for electrical engineering for enabling the graduates to pursue post graduate programmes, or lifelong learning in industry/technical profession.

Program Outcomes

          The graduate will have

         a. (PO1) an ability to apply the knowledge in mathematics, science, and engineering

         b. (PO2) an ability to conduct experiments, analyse, and interpret results

         c. (PO3) an ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints
