Aaravam is the name of the annual Sports festival organised at RIT. Despite of this RIT has KICK-OFF,Challenger's CUp,Smash,Fresher's Cup, Sandeep memorial futsal and so on....
Keli
Keli is the name of an intra-college arts festival conducted at RIT. The event is a colourful exhibition of diverse talents possessed by the students of RIT. The event is made competitive by grouping the entire college into 5 groups each named as part of a traditional piece of art - Magadha, Dhanak, Drona, Suruma and Thakajam, Daksha..
Women's Cell
International Women's day, March 8 is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. As part of SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS of RIT, a month long celebrations are planned for Women's Day celebrations.
RITU
Ritu is a national level techno-cultural fest conducted by Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology.
RITU has been conceived to unveil the true grit and shine of our institute, a platform to test and enhance the student community’s fineness. With an estimated budget of over 25 lakhs, it’ll be nothing short of grandeur with the pinnacle of technical stateliness and a robust exemplar of top-class management. The tech-fest will amalgamate the five B.Tech Departments, the B.Arch. Department and the PG Departments for a fine exertion towards RITU’s triumph. With the expertise and dexterity gained from the numerous National-level tech-fests hosted and competed by the students of the institute, it’s unreasonable to doubt their resolve in hosting RITU. Ritu is the name of annual techno-cultural fest of RIT. The event consists of a wide variety of programmes and competitions in technical and cultural field. Ritu is one of the tech-fests in Kerala having large number of footfalls.
