The department offers four year B. Tech course in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and M. Tech course in Industrial Drives & Control. Department is a research centre of APJAKTU. It’s also an approved research centre under QIP and NDF schemes.. The curriculum has been systematically designed to mould a competent Electrical engineer to cater the needs of industry and R&D. Housed in a three storied building, the course structure of the department aims at providing knowledge of latest trends in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Periodical updating of the syllabus is also done in order to keep with changes in modern heavy duty machines, power electronics, drives and control, signal processing, computer and communication engineering. All electrical maintenance and developmental activities within the campus is overseen and undertaken by the departmentt.
