Welcome to the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam. Our department is committed to fostering an environment of academic excellence, innovation, and research in both undergraduate and postgraduate education.
We offer two B. Tech programs in Electronics & Communication Engineering and Robotics and Artificial Intelligence that aim to equip students with a solid foundation in theory, practical skills, and the latest technological advancements. These programs are designed to meet the demands of industry and prepare our graduates for a wide range of career opportunities in diverse sectors such as telecommunications, VLSI, robotics, AI, and embedded systems.
In addition to our undergraduate offerings, we provide three specialized M. Tech programs in Advanced Communication and Information Systems, Advanced Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Robotics & Artificial Intelligence. These programs are tailored to cultivate a deeper understanding of complex technologies and encourage interdisciplinary research, equipping our students with the expertise to address challenges in rapidly evolving fields.

  • PEO 1: Apply theoretical and practical knowledge in Electronics, Communication, and emerging areas such as AI, IoT, and intelligent systems to creatively solve engineering problems relevant to industry, research, and society.
