Industrial Training, Consultancy & Sponsored Research (ITC&SR) Cell is to coordinates, facilitates and administers all the consultancy projects, testing projects, and sponsored projects of the college. The Cell is now consultant to various Central/State Government and private organizations carrying out Structural Engg. design, Architectural design, and various other consultancy projects. ITC&SR cell, RIT, Kottayam is also assessing the Structural Stability of various buildings in the State. The functioning of the cell is governed by the Institutional Programme Implementation Unit (IPIU). The IPIU consisting of Principal, Heads of various departments, and Head (ITC&SR), is taking appropriate actions for the effective implementation of programs through ITC&SR Cell. The Head (ITC&SR) is Dr. Bindurani P., Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering.
Nature of works: Concrete Mix Design, Structural Stability of Educational Institutions in Various Districts, Structural design work and Scrutiny, Soil tests, Non-destructive test, Quality assurance of CPWD Works, Architectural Design.
Major Clients: Kerala Water Authority, Various Grama Panchayaths, PWD, CPWD, Various LSGDs, Southern Railway, HLL, Irrigation Department, KRFB, various private agencies etc.
